Businessman to challenge Nolan for Senate

Southern Nevada businessman Benny Yerushalmi will challenge for the state senate seat now held by Sen. Dennis Nolan, R-Las Vegas.

A press statement from the senate Democratic caucus said Yerushalmi earned his B.A. from UCLA, his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his M.B.A from UCLA.

On the Republican side, Assemblyman Chad Christensen, R-Las Vegas, and Michelle Fiore also are challenging Nolan.
