Buyer finds family feel at Aliante

Terry Weesner searched for a residence with a family environment for her grandson Austin Gann, 10, and her 2-year-old granddaughter Nevaeh Thompson, and found it within the Aliante master-planned community.

"I looked all over the valley and this was the best by far," Weesner said. "It was the best value, it is more homey feeling, it is less crowded, it is just better all around. It reminds me of back home."

Having moved to Las Vegas six years ago from South Bend, Ind., Weesner said Aliante provided the small-town feel she missed.

"I like the parks and the general feel of the community," she said. "I like the closeness of the schools and the shopping centers. I like the movies in the park and the walking trails. The different family events are a big thing. It is very family oriented. That was a big draw. It is a great place for my grandchildren to live."

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the I-215 Exit East. Head east on the I-215, exit at Aliante Parkway and proceed south. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Information can also be obtained at AlianteHomes.com or by calling 866-787-2951.
