Buyer praises Richmond American’s Foxborough
November 3, 2007 - 9:00 pm
Brian Saip was searching for his first new home when he said he stopped by Richmond American's Foxborough neighborhood.
"I had been looking around for several months," he said. "The quality of Richmond American's homes seemed much better than others I saw. I was really impressed by all the included features, and the backyards at Foxborough were a lot larger than at other new home communities. I feel like I got the best buy in Las Vegas. I am so happy with my decision."
Saip closed on his new home in June, and he now lives there with his girlfriend, Jessica Arana. They both work at a casino and love the neighborhood's quick access to the Strip.
"It's a great location for us to get to work," Saip said, "but it still offers easy access to outdoor recreation."
By choosing one of the quick move-in homes at Foxborough, he was able to purchase and close on his new home in about two weeks.
He selected the Herringbone, a two-story floor plan with three bedrooms and two baths.
"The space is really useful and it seems much bigger than 1,600 square feet," Jessica Arana said.
The main floor offers an open layout with a living room with volume ceilings, a dining room, and a kitchen with a food-preparation island.
Toward the front of the home is a den that can be selected as an optional fourth bedroom with full bath.
Upstairs, a Jack-and-Jill bath provides access to two secondary bedrooms.
The master suite features a private bath and a walk-in closet. A loft is available in lieu of one of the bedrooms.
"Everyone was able to help me close quickly," Saip said. "My sales associates, Celia Hendricks and Norm Cummins, were so helpful and answered all of my questions. It was great building a friendship with them and with the superintendent, Mary Anne Harrison. Everyone was always checking in to make sure everything was taken care of."
In addition to the Herringbone, Foxborough offers one other floor plan from Richmond American's Cottage Collection.
Priced from the $260,000s, the Tattersal features three bedrooms and 21/2 baths in 1,350 square feet.
The main level includes a great room with volume ceilings, a dining room and a kitchen.
Upstairs is the master bedroom suite with private bath, two secondary bedrooms, a bath and a laundry room.
An optional fourth bedroom is available, which adds about 170 square feet, and a loft is available in lieu of one of the bedrooms.
Four plans are available from the Stonegate Collection, offering two-story homes highlighted by stone veneer.
Priced from the $300,000s to the $330,000s, these plans include from three to five bedrooms and 21/2 to three baths and measure from 1,850 to 2,400 square feet.
The largest floor plan, the Cobblebrick, includes a bedroom and full bath on the main floor.
Two other plans, the Ledgestone and Cliffstone, offer it as an option.
To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Blue Diamond exit and go west. Turn left on Westwind.
