Calling government wonks

This is your weekend reading assignment. It's the "2011 Report to Congress on the Benefits and Costs of Federal Regulations and Unfunded Mandates on State, Local and Tribal Entities."

Whack jobs and jobettes from both sides of the aisle will be spending the long weekend pouring over the report. Big Government liberals who have never seen a government regulation they didn't like will want to go directly to page 55 for fodder for their arguments.

Limited government wonks will have to look harder. This is, after all, a government report on government. The idea of government restrained from over-regulating finds little comfort.

Complete Las Vegans, however, can simply take note of the report, kick back in the shade with a couple of brewskies (or cold sodas), and contemplate the good life in a free country.
