Can Obama sell America on his HCR?

Not if he answers questions this way.

Last Friday a woman identified as Doris asked the president if it was a "wise decision to add more taxes to us with the health care" package. "We are over-taxed as it is," said Doris.

The president then proceeded to give a 17 minute 12 second meandering response that left the audience in a "daze", according to news reports.

If the president is going to save Democrats this fall by being the chief salesman for HCR, he better hone the pitch better than that. If you can't answer the tax objection in 30 seconds or less, then far less articulate Democrats like Harry Reid and Dina Titus have a right to be afraid. Very afraid.

You can read the entire Washington Post piece here. It's worth the time.
