Candidates for governor awfully quiet during special session
February 25, 2010 - 8:22 pm
For months, gubernatorial candidate and County Commissioner Rory Reid has said he's the man with the plan as he courts the Democrats and seeks to replace embattled Gov. Jim Gibbons.
And former U.S. District Judge Brian Sandoval has explained that he is the one capable of taking the leash of government and teaching it a few new tricks it will need to succeed in the coming decade.
Perhaps it's just me, but aren't Reid and Sandoval awfully quiet now that the Legislature is in special session and the sausage is being ground in Carson City?
It's one thing to have a plan and an advertising budget.
It's another thing to make the decisions that can't please everyone.
