Cell phones and ‘secrets’

Don't know what it is about cell phone use, but it somehow makes otherwise very cautious men become injudicious in the extreme.

Any Nevadan who has flown Southwest between Las Vegas and Reno during the legislative session knows what I'm talking about. Some legislator or government official gets on the phone at the gate and starts talking in a way that he'd never do in "public". He thinks it's "private". But everyone nearby can hear.

To that end, I thought this story would be worth valuable reading time for Complete Las Vegans. It's a cautionary tale about two lawyers who were caught talking proprietary business in public and it leaked. In one conversation, the lawyer was caught divulging partnership salary and benefits as he tried to poach a young lawyer from another firm. A sharp hearing nearby passenger overheard the details and called them into a legal website.

What's the legal term for "ouch"?
