Centennial Mazda named top seller for its district

Since opening five years ago, Centennial Mazda Buick GMC in the northwest valley has continued to attract attention.

The Mazda moniker has especially ridden the tide to success and was recently named the No. 1 dealership of its kind in District II.

The dealership’s available models include the Mazda 6, Mazda CX5, Mazda 3 and Speed 3, CX9 and the Mazda 3 Hatchback.

“We have a universal offering of incredible models all of which do well,” said sales consultant Frank Braccia, a native of New York whose family has been in the car business since 1962. “In fact, the Mazda 6 was the Motor Trend Car of the Year in 2013.”

Braccia said he is fascinated by the Mazda line.

“The gas mileage is through the roof,” he said. “T he Mazda is genuinely manufactured in Japan, so the engineering is updated on a constant basis.”

In addition, Braccia said prices have been a strong factor in the success of the company.

“For instance, you can buy a Mazda 3 with no money down and payments of as low as $159 a month. The car has the highest gas mileage in its class and the best residual value in its class, too,” he said.

According to estimates from Mazda, the highway mileage can reach as much as 40 mpg.

Braccia also touted the Mazda 3’s handling and its four-cylinder, 167-horsepower engine.

In the sport utility vehicle field, the CX9 is selling well, he said.

“The CX9 has three rows of seating, so it fits well for families,” Braccia said.

Centennial Mazda is now offering second-chance financing .

“Buyers can now re-establish their credit without the buying pressure,” Braccia said. “We have virtually every element covered at this dealership ranging from the assortment of the vehicles to the financing necessary.”
