WRITE A LETTER TO SANTA, HELP A CHARITY
Valley residents can write a letter to Santa and drop it off to the Santa letterbox at any valley Macy's store to benefit Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada.
For each stamped letter received, Macy's will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million. Letters can be delivered through Dec. 24.
'MAGIC OF BELLE ISLE' TO BE SCREENED
The Centennial Hills Active Adult Center at 6601 N. Buffalo Drive plans to host a free screening of "The Magic of Belle Isle" at 10 a.m. Monday.

THANKSGIVING MEAL TO BE SERVED
AT CENTENNIAL HILLS ACTIVE ADULT CENTER
The Centennial Hills Active Adult Center plans to host a traditional Thanksgiving meal of mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetables, rolls and dessert for $6 at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at 6601 N. Buffalo Drive.
Las Vegas City Councilman Steve Ross plans to sponsor the turkeys for the event.
