FUNDRAISER TO HELP TEEN
PAY FOR CANCER TREATMENTS

Kassidy's Army's second annual golf tournament, a fundraiser for Centennial High School student Kassidy Merritt, is planned for 8 a.m. Monday at the Canyon Gate Country Club, 2001 Canyon Gate Drive.

Merritt is battling an inoperable brain tumor.

The four-person scramble tournament is to include a silent auction and a raffle. Each golfer is to receive a polo shirt, lunch, free driving range practice and a round of golf.

Funds raised will help with the rest of Merritt's cancer treatment, which costs about $7,600 per month, and also help others fighting cancer.

The fee is $175 per person. Sponsorships are available.
