— The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, 6725 Lee Canyon Road, is scheduled to operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays until Sept. 2. Free lawn games, hiking and mountain biking are available. Chairlift rides are $10, and disc golf is $17. — Parents can drop off youths ages 5 to 12 for a Night at the Museum filled with child-friendly entertainment, including a screening of the animated film “Brave,” group activities and pizza from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Springs Preserve, 333 S.
