Centex’s Encantada entices with location, design

Centex Homes sales executive Wei Yin said fewer than two dozen homes remain at Encantada in the southwest valley. The closeout phase of sales is moving along briskly because buyers find Encantada's location appealing, Yin said.

"First-time buyers seek us out because we offer affordable homes in a prime location. Relocating Californians love the convenience to Interstate 15," Yin said, pointing out the development's proximity to newer schools and hospitals.

"We're a favorite choice among teachers and nurses because they can be to work in no time," Yin said. Spring Valley Hospital is within minutes, Yins said, with Henderson and Summerlin-area hospitals accessible via Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway.

Alamo Elementary School and Canarelli Middle School are both within walking distance with Sierra Vista High School is a short drive away, according to Yin.

Home buyers can select from three two-story floor plans ranging from 1,483 to 1,685 square feet. Prices start in the $260,000s.

"We're completely sold out of the 1,213-square-foot Orchard plan," Yin said.

At 1,483 square feet, the Spring floor plan includes three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a great room, island kitchen and second-floor laundry room.

The 1,593 square foot, Garden plan has four bedrooms, one located on the first floor, and three full baths. The layout includes a great room, eating nook in the kitchen and loft on the second floor adjacent to the master suite.

The 1,685-square-foot Meadow includes three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a family room, dining room and island kitchen with nook and pantry. The laundry room is located upstairs.

Home buyers can make flooring selections on some Encantada home sites. Select homes come equipped with window blinds and a complete appliance package, including a washer, dryer and refrigerator. Homes are Energy Star-certified, and front yard desert landscaping is included.

The development features a private neighborhood park with walking trails, playground and basketball court. Homeowner association fees for the privately gated neighborhood are $50 per month. The neighborhood will include 295 homes when complete.

Centex Homes offers incentive programs to educators, healthcare providers, firefighters and law enforcement personnel as well as active, reserve, retired or veteran military members.

Sales hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when model homes open at noon.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south, exit at I-215 west, then exit south on Jones Boulevard. Turn left on Robindale Road, left on Lindell Road.
