Change at the bottom; the players in danger of being eliminated

There was a change at the bottom of the standings at the World Series of Poker’s Main Event Wednesday morning.

Badih Bounahra of Belize, John Hewitt of Costa Rica, and Matt Giannetti of Las Vegas are all on the bubble to be the 10th and final player eliminated in the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em World Championship.

Giannetti doubled up on Hewitt when his pocket jacks held against Hewitt’s ace-king. The three players are short-stacked compared to the rest of the field.

The tournament is seeking the final table of nine players who will return to the Rio in November.
