Chrysler Jeep Dodge opens in northwest

Towbin Automotive recently made life simpler for the owners of Chrysler products when the company opened a new dealership in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.
Prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge is now situated at 6520 Centennial Center Blvd. The 40,000-square-foot-dealership recently received its first shipment of new vehicles last week.
For nearly one year, customers in the area have been without a Chrysler dealership following the closure of several stores in the northwest. The all-new Prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge store provides full service, sales and parts departments.
Josh "Chop" Towbin, the operating partner/general manager of the dealership, said Towbin Automotive has been working hard for several months to complete the conversion of the store and bring a Chrysler dealership to the northwest.
"It's been a long time coming," said Towbin, 34. "We are very pleased to be able to provide great customer service for iconic brands that people love. Since we opened the doors April 1, we have had unbelievable traffic. We are very appreciative of the support we have received from Southern Nevada and we're excited to provide sales, service and parts for many years to come."
The addition of the new store also created about 70 new jobs, according to Carolynn Towbin, president and CEO of Towbin Automotive.
"We are really excited about the new store," Carolynn Towbin said. "The people in this area have not had access to sales and service for Chrysler Jeep Dodge and we are happy to be providing it. The new store is filled with employees who are very pleased to have new jobs and are ready to provide excellent sales and service to our new customers. The positive energy in the store is contagious and I love being there.
"The opening of the store has really provided an infusion of great energy to our entire company."
Customers in the northwest are ecstatic about the new dealership.
Chuck Logan, who owns a 2000 Grand Cherokee, bought from one of the Chrysler dealerships in 2003 and had to go to a local service station for maintenance after the dealership he bought from closed.
"It's great to have the Towbin dealership here. I love the product and I love the service. I am so pleased. My service representative called me to say he was now at the new Towbin store and I went right back to him."
Larry Miller, who owns an '05 Dodge Magnum, has been traveling mostly to the Valley Automall for service for the past year.
"I am extremely happy about the new store in the northwest," said Miller, a local businessman who has lived in Las Vegas for 21 years. "I went Tuesday to get my car serviced and everything was fantastic. We were in and out in no time at all."
Karen and Colin Breslin own two Dodges. She drives a 2007 Dodge Durango while he drives a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn.
"We were going to the Towbin dealership in the Valley Automall before," Karen Breslin said. "The new store is only four miles from our house and we're thrilled to see J.R. Fisk and the crew back. We went in for an oil change the other day and it was a tremendous relief."
Stoney Gray, the owner of four Dodge trucks, added, "It was very inconvenient to drive clear across town for service and I actually started buying other products. Now that the new store is on this side of town, I'm buying a Jeep."
A grand opening special of a $9.99 oil change is now being offered until further notice.
