Clark County Republican Chairman Richard Scotti says he will resign from his party post to be Clark County coordinator for the gubernatorial campaign of Brian Sandoval.
Scotti says, per party bylaws, vice chairman Bob Ruckman will fulfill the duties as acting chairman and a new chairman will have to be voted on at the January meeting.
Ruckman is a retired banker.
