Coca-Cola campaign warms hearts of viewers

As kids, we’re taught not to judge a book by its cover. People tend to forget this lesson, but an ad campaign by Coca-Cola’s Middle East branch is acting as a strong reminder.

A heartwarming video has a simple premise: Six strangers sit down in pitch darkness to talk and have Iftar (the traditional dinner at the end of Ramadan) together.

As they learn about one another, they immediately begin to guess what each other looks like.

Watch to see just how surprised they are when the lights turn on and they realize their expectations were nowhere near reality.

Coca-Cola has a final punch by giving each of the men a label-less can that simply reads: “Labels are for cans, not for people.”

While the video is titled “Remove labels this Ramadan,” it’s definitely a lesson that everyone can learn from regardless of religion or beliefs.
