Concordia receives awards

Concordia Homes won the 2007 Eliant Home Buyers' Choice Award for Builder of the Year for overall satisfaction. Concordia also received additional awards for overall home quality, initial customer care and finance experience in the Large Volume Home Builder category.

Eliant recently completed compiling the results of its annual survey of nearly 100,000 home buyers who purchased in more than 250 major home builders across the nation. Based on home buyers' satisfaction scores, the best-performing builders were announced at The Eliant National Roundtable on Home Buyer Satisfaction held in Las Vegas Oct. 18.

"The Eliant Home Buyers' Choice Award signifies Concordia Homes' commitment to excellence in all issues of customer satisfaction," said Robert Mirman, chief executive officer of Eliant.

He founded the Irvine, Calif.-based company in 1984. Eliant is one of the nation's largest consumer-research companies, catering exclusively to the building industry. In addition to consumer surveying, Eliant employs a wide range of data-gathering techniques, technical analysis and formulates solutions-based strategies for raising home buyer satisfaction ratings and rankings for the nation's premier home builders.

"This is a tremendous honor and accomplishment for our company," said Renee Tanner, Concordia Homes customer care manager. "Receiving this honor is a reflection of Concordia Homes' unwavering commitment to providing superior quality and exceptional customer service for all its home buyers through every phase of the home buyer experience. It further demonstrates our commitment to quality, greater efficiency, consistency and effectiveness to the benefit of Concordia's homeowners, partners and the industry. I am very proud of our employees, whose hard work and dedication have clearly been recognized through this exciting achievement."

She said Concordia Homes invested more than $250,000 in process improvements and training that helped the company earn the National Association of Homebuilders' National Housing Quality Certification and the Customer Centric Culture Certificate from New York University.
