Conservative activists want to make Searchlight No.1 outrage tourism destination

Activists from Arizona who are angry at Congress want to make Searchlight Nevada's number one destination for outrage tourism on Saturday.

That's where they're holding an "Un-Elect Harry Reid" rally.

Searchlight is the birthplace and Nevada home of Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev. Reid is the Senate majority leader and a target for conservative rage nationwide.

The event Saturday is at 11 a.m. at the Searchlight Community Park and is being organized by Harvey Jackson and Dennis Schilling. Jackson is the former mayor of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

So why are people from Arizona telling Nevadans how to vote? Here's what Jackson had to say: "Harry Reid is your business, but he is Senate majority leader and he is affecting us. Please take that into account when you vote."

Jackson recently wrote a book called 'Congress on Trial', it's about America's oil dependence, but touches on health care, social security and immigration, according to Jackson's Web site.

Folks who aren't sure about making a drive to Searchlight can look here for more information and determine if it is the sort of event they'd like to attend.
