Coronado condo units sell within Summerlin
Seven floor plans are selling in Coronado, a gated condominium project by Westmark Homes located in Summerlin's The Paseos Village. Coronado's home designs range from 1,305 to 1,803 square feet and are priced starting in the high $200,000s. Each home offers two or three bedrooms, two baths and an enclosed garage.
Coronado also features a resort-style swimming pool, spa, fitness center and shaded terraces throughout the neighborhood.
Coronado is the final neighborhood selling in the southern half of the village, which is Summerlin's most western area developed.
"The Paseos has been extremely popular with valley home buyers who appreciate living away from the hustle and bustle of the city," said Julie Cleaver, director of design and planning for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin. "The Paseos location along the valley's western edge provides a beautiful sanctuary, yet it offers convenient access via major roadways. It's the best of two worlds."
Nestled close to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, The Paseos is a 375-acre village home to several residential neighborhoods, miles of walking trails and dozens of neighborhood parks. The Paseos Park, a 13-acre community park houses junior soccer/tee-ball fields, a sand volleyball court, basketball court, tot lot, children's playgrounds, picnic pavilions, interactive water feature, motorized toy area and open playgrounds.
The village's architectural influences are drawn from Southern Nevada's native roots, featuring hacienda- and mission-style details. Typical of these styles, most homes in The Paseos include abundant outdoor living areas such as courtyards, patios, decks, loggias and balconies.
Given the emphasis on outdoor living, careful planning went into the landscape architecture of this village, according to Cleaver.
"The village features a wide selection of plant life native to Southern Nevada," she said. "It's an attractive, lush desert landscape that boasts year-round color."
Summerlin began to take shape in 1990 and is located along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley. Summerlin is home to more than 95,000 residents. The community encompasses 22,500 acres with about 9,000 acres remaining to develop.
Homes styles vary from single-family homes to townhomes to condominiums to lofts. Prices range from the high $200,000s to more than $2 million.
