Couple buys home at Stonegate

Jon and Laura Hernandez found their home at Stonegate, a Richmond American neighborhood in southwestern Las Vegas.

The couple chose the Birch floor plan.

"The layout is so spacious and open, it's great for entertaining," Laura Hernandez said.

"Another thing we like about this floor plan is the bedroom and full bathroom downstairs," Jon Hernandez said. "My mom is retired and she's going to be living with us, so she'll be able to have her own space."

The plan features about 2,050 square feet, three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a study and a loft. The first floor offers an open layout with a family room, dining room, nook and kitchen, as well as a study that is available as an optional fourth bedroom.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Blue Diamond exit and go west. Turn right on Decatur Boulevard and continue to Moberly Avenue. Model homes and sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Friday when they open at noon.

Priced from the $340,000s is the Cliffstone, offering three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and 1,850 square feet.

The main floor features a great room, kitchen and nook, as well as a formal dining room that can be selected as a fourth bedroom with full bath. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite, two secondary bedrooms, a laundry room and a tech center.

The Pebble Stone and Ledgestone both offer four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The Pebble Stone is priced from the low $360,000s and measures about 2,150 square feet.

Priced from the low $370,000s, the Ledgestone features 2,200 square feet.

The largest floor plan is the Cobblebrick, offering 2,400 square feet, five bedrooms and three baths. Priced from the $380,000s, this home has a bedroom and full bath on the main floor.
