Couple buys home in Pulte’s Tudor Park

When Rosina and Tony Rugolo were ready to purchase their second home in Southern Nevada, they said they considered many options, but found their favorite design and location at Pulte Homes' Tudor Park neighborhood.

Priced from the $520,000s, Tudor Park is a private, gated, single-family neighborhood located along the fairways of the Badlands Golf Course in the Queensridge master-planned community.

Buyers have a selection of three floor plans that range from 2,577 to 2,859 square feet, with up to three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

The neighborhood is close to Summerlin shopping, dining and entertainment venues. The homes feature Tudor-style architecture and include private patios, private lofts and retreats and security systems.

"We looked at new and resale homes in various areas of the valley and Tudor Park was our favorite choice for several reasons," Rosina Rugolo said.

"This location is very convenient to things we enjoy, such as shopping, restaurants, casinos and so many other attractions in the Summerlin area. Also, our former home, which was in Queensridge, was built by Pulte and we were very happy with the community, the quality of our home and the customer service we received. We definitely wanted to stay in this area and were glad to see that Pulte was building Tudor Park."

The Rugolos purchased a Plan 2850 at Tudor Park. The 2,836-square-foot home features three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, den, master loft and sitting area, master bedroom fireplace, master bath with a walk-in closet, dining room, family/living room with fireplace, island kitchen, upstairs laundry facilities, a front courtyard and two-car garage.

"The first things that attracted us to the Plan 2850 were the gorgeous kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining, and the master suite which is very spacious and has a separate sitting room," Rosina Rugolo said.

"In fact, we were impressed by the entire design of this home and all of the features Pulte included in the base price. We thought it was an excellent value, considering the size, quality and location."

Pulte homes are constructed with Environments for Living building technology and include blown-in cellulose insulation and dual-pane, vinyl-framed, low-emittance windows.

Additionally, Pulte Homes offers its Signature Standards, which includes brand-name amenities as standard features.

They include granite surface countertops, York heating and air-conditioning systems, Mohawk flooring, Sherwin-Williams paint, Moen faucets, Kohler plumbing fixtures, General Electric appliances, Schlage door hardware, Sea Gull lighting and Zodiaq natural quartz surfaces.

To visit Tudor Park take U.S. Highway 95 North to Summerlin Parkway; exit south on Rampart Boulevard and turn right on Alta Drive. Tudor Park is on the left.

The sales office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Wednesday when it opens at noon. Information can also be obtained by calling 233-8297 or visiting PulteHomes.com.

Pulte Homes Inc. is based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. It operates in 51 markets and 26 states.

In 2006, Pulte delivered 41,487 homes and generated consolidated revenues of $14.3 billion.

During its 57-year history, the company has constructed nearly 500,000 homes.
