Couple discovers Hacienda Park
August 11, 2007 - 9:00 pm
Matthew and Aubrie Epperson were ready to start a family, and had been given a "sign" from Pulte's Hacienda Park as to where to purchase their new home.
"We had seen several Hacienda Park signs over the past few months," Matthew Epperson. "Then, Aubrie and I went to an outdoor event one day in January. It was so cold that day. We passed on the event, got back in the car and went looking for something else to do. That's when we noticed the Hacienda Park signs again. We had been thinking about those homes for some time but now -- on the spur of the moment -- we decided to take a look.
"The sales consultant was just getting ready to close for the day," he added. "We got there just in time and he let us in, gave us a detailed tour of the models and was really nice to us. Later that evening, we purchased our home."
The Eppersons purchased a 1342 Plan, the mid-sized of three floor plan designs offered at Hacienda Park, where the homes range from 1,327 to 1,363 square feet with as many as three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
All of the homes come with an attached garage and prices start in the upper $230,000s.
From first contact, the Eppersons have enjoyed getting to know Hacienda Park and members of the Pulte Homes team.
Matthew Epperson, who is a former custom-home builder studying to become a dentist, said he checked out half a dozen new-home builders and compared them as best as he could before they made their decision.
Hacienda Park is already about halfway through its sales and the model homes are expected to open in mid-August.
To visit Hacienda Park, take U.S. Highway 95 to Tropicana Avenue, go east to Nellis Boulevard, drive south to Hacienda Avenue, drive east to Aurora Beam Avenue and follow the signs.
Office hours at the sales trailer are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Wednesday, when it opens at noon.
