Couple selects Brighton Village

Ending their search of new and resale homes in the southern part of the Las Vegas Valley, local residents David and Kay Strother said they found what they were looking for at Brighton Village by Warmington Homes Nevada.

The Strothers, who have lived in the Las Vegas area for more than 35 years, said they searched several months before discovering Brighton Village.

"We essentially looked at all of the available homes in the area and what we found at Brighton Village was the best overall home at the most affordable price," Kay Strother said.

Specifically, the couple cited the floor plan with large rooms and plenty of windows as a primary factor in their decision to purchase a new Residence Three at Brighton Village.

"This neighborhood really stood out among the rest of the homes selling in the area," Kay Strothers said. "The exterior is so beautiful and charming and we love the open floor plan and the way it feels so spacious, bright and extremely inviting."

The single-family homes are priced from the high $100,000s during Warmington's Best Ever Sales Event, which continues through the end of March at all seven Warmington neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley, sales manager John Upchurch said. For more information on the promotion, visit BestEver SalesEvent.com.

At Brighton Village, traditionally styled homes range from 1,194 to 1,432 square feet. Buyers can choose among four two-story floor plans, which provide two or three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and a one-car garage, per plan. Exterior designs feature decorative shutters, front porch entries, landscaped front yards and private rear yards.

The upgraded homes feature kitchens with a 25-cubic-foot Whirlpool refrigerator, oak cabinetry with adjustable shelves and a Whirlpool appliance package that includes a multi-cycle dishwasher and range with sealed burners.

Additional features included in the standard price are mini-blinds on all windows, vertical blinds on sliding glass doors and Whirlpool full-size washers and gas dryers. All four home styles include living and dining rooms, kitchens, walk-in closets, interior laundry areas with optional overhead storage cabinets and one or more master bedroom suites, per plan.

"Brighton Village is a great place to live for many reasons but we especially appreciate the proximity of so many recreational, retail and community facilities, which are located right here in the Silverado Ranch area," said Kay Strother. "For a great price, we get an outstanding location, contemporary floor plan design and a wonderful neighborhood that we love living in."

The couple said they enjoy the landscaped common grounds that surround Brighton Village and the residents-only community pool and cabana.

When purchasing their home, the Strothers utilized the services of Bayport Mortgage Co., Warmington Homes Nevada's preferred lender. According to the couple, they received added value because they earned a closing cost allowance by using Bayport Mortgage.

"There were absolutely no surprises, and the (Bayport) team thoroughly explained everything to us during the process, which we really appreciated," Kay Strother said.

Upchurch said buyers at Brighton Village are free to select their lender of choice but are encouraged to use Bayport Mortgage Co. to receive a closing cost allowance as well as competitive rates and fees, and access to a variety of loan programs. For more information, visit BayportMortgage.com.

To visit Brighton Village, from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Windmill Lane and go west to Maryland Parkway. Turn south on Maryland and go three miles.
