Couple selects home at Aliante, citing community’s parks, trails

Longtime Las Vegas residents Terri and Paul Trigili have owned many homes throughout the Las Vegas area. Recently, when a career opportunity for Paul Trigili presented itself in the north valley, the couple decided to relocate from their home in the southwest area to ensure an easy daily commute.
The Trigilis said that upon considering numerous new neighborhoods and communities in the north valley, they chose Aliante, a master-planned community in North Las Vegas, for its home selection, value and convenience.
"We had several criteria in mind, beginning with a convenient single-story home that we would want to live in for many years to come," said Terri Trigili. "During our search, people kept telling us that Aliante was the place to be in the north valley, for a variety of reasons. Once we drove in and saw the beautiful design of the community, with the parks, golf course, trails and other amenities, we were sold. We looked at many, many communities during our search, but kept coming back to Aliante.
"We were also pleased to discover that Pardee Homes was building here in Aliante because we had visited some of their other neighborhoods and were very impressed with the designs and quality of construction we saw," she said.
Upon visiting the Aliante Information Gallery to learn about the community, the Trigilis headed over to Pardee Homes' gated Springdale neighborhood, which is now in the final closeout phase and offers a selection of one- and two-story homes ranging from 2,754 to 3,289 square feet and priced from the high $300,000s.
The Trigilis selected the Plan One design, which offers three bedrooms (or two bedrooms with an optional den), along with two baths in 1,990 square feet (The model home for the Plan One design is currently available for sale at the neighborhood.)
"We loved the openness and the spacious feel of the Plan One and felt it was an excellent value for the price," Terri Trigili said. "There's plenty of space for the two of us, plus there was extra room for my husband to have his own workshop. It's a home that works well for ordinary day-to-day living, as well as entertaining guests. We were also pleased to be able to select a home site overlooking Aliante's natural arroyo, which provides us with a beautiful view from the back of our home."
The Trigilis said they like the conveniences incorporated in the design of the Aliante master plan.
"It's such a pleasure to able to stroll to Nature Discovery Park, to the public library and the nearby shopping centers and eateries," she said. "Virtually everything we need on a daily basis is within a short stroll or drive, which is a great convenience. Soon, the Aliante Station resort will be completed, bringing even more entertainment and restaurant attractions to the community, which will be another advantage for residents of the area. We just think it's a wonderful place to own a home."
The Trigilis said they were also impressed by the service they received from the staff of the Aliante Information Gallery, as well as the Pardee Homes' sales and customer service staff.
"Everyone we dealt with was very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to our questions and requests," Terri Trigili said. "Over the past 17 years, we have owned 10 homes in the greater Las Vegas area and this -- by far -- is the best location and builder we have ever found. We truly love our home and the entire surrounding community."
Along with Springfield, the Aliante master-planned community offers four additional single-family neighborhoods designed for families of all sizes and age ranges.
The Fields at Aliante, by Astoria Homes, offers four- and five-bedroom designs that range from 2,228 to 3,374 square feet. The homes feature 21/2 to three baths, two- to three-car garages, lofts, bonus rooms and owner retreats. Prices start in the low $300,000s.

Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises LLC, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Pulte Homes. Encompassing more than 1,900 acres, the community is bordered roughly by Grand Teton Drive, Centennial Parkway, Decatur Boulevard and Clayton Street. Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, bisects Aliante, providing easy access to I-15 and U.S. Highway 95.
About 428 acres in Aliante are designated for recreational and public purposes, including the Aliante Golf Club, the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, Deer Springs Park, Aviary Park, more than 24 miles of lighted concrete trails and linear parks and an arroyo.
Proposed plans for Aliante include two elementary schools and a middle school, all of which would be built by the Clark County School District. The community's first school, the Theron H. and Naomi D. Goynes Elementary School, opened in August 2005. A new fire station was opened in April 2004 and the Aliante Library, located adjacent to the Nature Discovery Park, opened in May 2006.
About 100 acres in Aliante are allocated for commercial development. Residents currently have access to shopping, dining and professional services at the community's various retail centers and the Aliante Corporate Center office park. Ground was broken during the first quarter of 2007 for the Aliante Station hotel and casino, which is scheduled to open later this year. The resort will be located on a 40-acre parcel at the northeast corner of I-215 and Aliante Parkway.
