Dance-a-thon planned to support shelter pets

The Animal Foundation, 655 N. Mojave Road, is holding its first Cat’urday Night Fever Dance-a-Thon to raise money and awareness for shelter cats and other pets from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at Cathouse Boutique Night Club inside the Luxor.

Guests are to have the opportunity to pair up with students from Rhythmic Souls Dance Studio to complete dances in a variety of styles. The more dances that are completed, the more funds sponsors will donate to The Animal Foundation to further its mission of reducing pet overpopulation in Las Vegas. No experience is necessary.

General admission is $5 per person. An RSVP on The Animal Foundation’s Facebook Page is recommended to guarantee entry.
