Dems making Angle an issue in Colorado race

Democrats are attempting to use Nevadan Sharron Angle as a wedge against the Republican Senate candidate in Colorado.

The Denver Post reports that Sen. Michael Bennet put out a fundraising letter and video (below) linking Angle with his opponent Ken Buck, another Tea Party-backed hopeful.

"Ken Buck and his tea party friends are too extreme," according to the Bennet advertisement.

This seems to be the first commercial in which Angle is mentioned by a candidate in another state. To that extent, it indicates her profile has transcended Nevada for better or worse. It also shows Democrats elsewhere capitalizing on Sen. Harry Reid's efforts to call attention to her views and to characterize them as outside the mainstream.
