DINING: City Center restaurants to sparkle
July 6, 2009 - 10:36 am
You’ll have to wait until December to dine there, but we have news about some of the restaurants planned for
Crystals, the retail and dining complex at CityCenter — and most of them are from familiar faces.
Actress Eva Longoria Parker will open a first-in-Las Vegas outpost of her Los Angeles restaurant Beso (Spanish for “kiss”), and Todd English, her partner in the L.A. Beso and owner of a sprawling restaurant empire that includes Olives at Bellagio, will open a pub-style restaurant at Crystals.
Additionally, Scottsdale- and Southern California-based Mastro's LLC will open Mastro's Ocean Club Seafood House, and Wolfgang Puck, who already has a half-dozen restaurants in the valley, will open Pods, with light American and Mediterranean fare, and another restaurant that will be a “contemporary interpretation of a traditional French brasserie with tastes of the Mediterranean region,” which the company says with a straight face is “a new concept for Puck.”
Trust me, for the rest of us, too.
