  A free public cooking demonstration is scheduled for 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 26) at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas, 1451 Center Crossing Road. Chef Philippe Guiet, a native of France who is an instructor at Le Cordon Blue Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute, will demonstrate the preparation of Poulet Saute Chasseur, which is sauteed chicken with mushrooms and tomato sauce.   Hash House A Go Go is celebrating National Pancake Week with special pancakes created by KVVU-TV Fox 5 anchors. Two dollars for each order sold of the special pancakes, which will be available through March 7, will be donated to Best Buddies. Arran Andersen’s creation is “My Pancake is Berry Berry Good,” with blueberries and white chocolate; Monica Jackson’s is “SAW-C,” with strawberries, apples, white chocolate and cinnamon; Rachel Smith’s is “Rachel’s Banana Bonanza” and has bananas, cinnamon, brown sugar and whipped cream; and Jason Feinberg’s is “Itchy & Scratchy’s Coco-Cocoa Kitty,” and contains coconut, cocoa and chocolate.
