DINING: Eat chocolate for the cure

A special collection, “Create Chocolate, Create Hope,” is available in all ethel's chocolate stores through Dec. 31, or while supplies last, and a portion of sales will go toward breast-cancer research.
In addition to a $10,000 donation to the Southern Nevada affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the company will donate 10 percent of proceeds from sales of the limited-edition collection to the affiliate. The 24-piece collection, which sells for $35 in all ethel's stores in the valley, features "pink-inspired" flavors such as dark chocolate raspberry ganache and double-dark chocolate truffle.
As part of the campaign, the company invited artists to submit works for a contest. Four were chosen, and their art is featured on the boxes, along with their essays about how chocolate can help create hope for a cure.
I don't know about you, but eating chocolate always makes me feel better -- for a little while, anyway.
