DINING: Family Friendly

Who says Las Vegas isn't friendly to kids? Seven of the 10 restaurants named as among the most family-friendly in the July issue of Parents magazine have outlets in the valley.
  They are: Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes (2), Mimi's Cafe (3), Chili's Grill & Bar (5), Red Robin (6), P.F. Chang's China Bistro (8), Denny's (9) and Claim Jumper (10).
The magazine, which surveyed more than 50 full-service and buffet-style chains, considered factors such as variety of food and beverages for both kids and adults, reservation policies, kid-friendly stuff such as crayoning materials and changing tables, the presence (or absence) of trans fats, services for kids who have food allergies and relationships with children's charities.
The No. 1 pick? Legal Sea Foods, which has locations in the Northeast. Rounding out the list are Uno Chicago Grill (4) and The Old Spaghetti Factory (7).
