DINING: Helping kids (and adults) eat better
Loews Lake Las Vegas invites kids and parents to learn how to “Build a Better Lunchbox” at noon Saturday (Nov. 6) at the resort. Food stations will show the major food groups and chefs will host demonstrations and offer nutritional advice. “An Afternoon at the Springs Preserve” is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 7) at the preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd. The event, which also is sponsored by fresh52 Farmers Market, will include food prepared by Wolfgang Puck chefs, along with wines and live music.
