DINING: Local barbecue king on TV

Mike Mills, owner of the three valley locations of Memphis Championship Barbecue, will appear on “Food Feuds” on the Food Network. The episode, which is titled “Pork Feuds,” airs at 10 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 18), 1 a.m. Friday and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27. From 5 p.m. until closing Thursday, the local restaurants will offer all customers a free sample plate of fried dill pickles, onion straws and fried okra. ...
