DINING: More St. Paddy’s and a big Shucker

  To celebrate its grand opening Wednesday (March 17), Todd English P.U.B. at Crystals at CityCenter, 3720 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from sales of its commemorative glasses to the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The 23-ounce glasses, filled with either Pyramid Haywire Hefeweizen or Audacious Apricot Ale, are $20, and purchasers can keep their glasses.   Schuck’s Tavern at 2090 E. Serene Ave. is offering 40 contestants a chance to win the $100 cash top prize in the Big Mother Shucker contest from 7 to 8 p.m. March 25. The contestants will attempt to consume the Big Mother Shucker hamburger and a platter of chili cheese fries. Second and third prizes also will be awarded. The entry fee is $10; enter before 10 p.m. March 21 at www.shuckstavern.com or at one of Shucks’ three valley locations.
