Do no harm; do no disclosure

The Las Vegas Sun's pretentious piece on June. 27 that essentially accused Las Vegas hospitals of butchering patients instead of helping them took an interesting turn last Sunday.

Now comes a follow-up story that says at least one hospital isn't really all that bad. And, that one hospital will now release data to prove it.

Nowhere, however, does the Sun story mention that the owners of the newspaper are big financial benefactors for the now "good" hospital.

Maybe the series should be re-named: "Do No Harm; Do No Disclosure".
