ELECTION ‘RACE’ WRAPUP: Obama ‘half white’
President-elect Barack Obama is so popular that some whites now claim him as one of their own.
Following a recent column on race and the historic election, e-mail writer Michele got ticked off at me for leaving out something she thought was important.
She wrote, “As long as you have made your column about race, I need to point out, as no one seems to be doing, that Barack Obama is also HALF WHITE. Why is this fact not being addressed ... or being disregarded is more like it?”
Who can argue with that logic … or make up this stuff?
