Eleven11 Condominium Homes offers free home-buying seminars

The current housing market conditions as well as recent changes in the lending industry have adversely impacted today's first-time home buyers in Las Vegas and elsewhere.

In short, it has become more difficult for many first-time buyers to get a mortgage loan. For most, the problem is that they don't have enough money to put down or they have fairly low credit scores at a time when lenders are tightening standards.

Eleven11 Condominium Homes offers first-time buyers a free seminar to help get them in a home, said Lucinda DeVries of Marketing Partners, which assists Eleven11 with its marketing efforts.

The seminar offers free credit reports, free financial counseling and programs that could qualify the buyer for up to $10,000 towards a down payment, she said. One of the programs for which buyers might qualify has mortgage payments as low as $754.26, which includes principal and interest.

"Builders are beginning to understand that first-time buyers need help getting into that first home. It is more than just the upgrades offered but how they can help buyers get approved for mortgage loans," DeVries said. "The seminar being offered at Eleven11 is not a hard-sell technique and is aimed at helping people, not pressuring them into buying," DeVries said.

Eleven11 Condominium Homes is located on West Charleston Boulevard, between Buffalo Drive and Cimarron Road, at 1111 Warbonnet Way. The base price starts at $129,900, DeVries said.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed Sunday. Anyone can visit the models with an appointment by calling 866-431-0673. For more information, prospective buyers can also visit mynewcondostory.com.

Eleven11 offers three floor plans: the Six80 with one bedroom and one bath; Nine68 with two bedrooms and two baths; and the Nine80, which also has two bedrooms and two baths. All three floor plans have optional upgrades such as imported granite countertops in kitchen and bath, designer-selected fixtures, two-tone paint and stainless-steel appliances.

The clubhouse offers a fitness center, pool and spa.
