Ensign mystery solved?

Like a number of other members of Congress, Nevada Republican Sen. John Ensign said he plans to sit beside a Democrat at Tuesday's State of the Union speech in a show of bipartisan civility. But Ensign's office declined to identify the Democrat.

The mystery may now be solved. Steven Dennis, a reporter at Roll Call, tweeted this weekend that Delaware Democrat Sen. Tom Carper told him he was going to sit with Ensign and Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts. He said both Republicans had sought him out.
