ENTERTAINMENT: Coldplay, Jay-Z pose for Cosmo
If you thought the hot ticket for New Year’s eve would be to strap the Bud Light Lime sixer to your belt and watch the fireworks on the Strip, there’s something higher to aim for.
The Cosmopolitan has announced Coldplay and Jay-Z will apparently team up on New Year’s Eve, a pricey publicity move perhaps to communicate to the rest of the world, “Yes, they finally did finish that thing everyone forgets is sitting there between CityCenter and the Bellagio.”
Opening weekend is also to include a “surprise guest performance” on the pool deck. The announcment didn’t come with any details on how you could weasel your way in, but does say the cross-genre pairing of superstars will be broadcast to the masses on a 65-foot outdoor digital marquee, So save up for that six-pack after all.
