ENTERTAINMENT: No recycling Percussion at Trop

Things change quickly in show business. Producer Adam Steck called after the deadline for Thursday's column saying his attempt to put Recycled Percussion back into the Tropicana might not be as done of a deal as he thought it was.

Late Friday night, Steck said he made the decision to abandon the deal because of the "union minimum" for stagehand costs. It wasn't known how this might affect Gladys Knight, whose producers wanted another show to share those costs with.
