ENTERTAINMENT: Plans for Gans celebration under way

The family of entertainer Danny Gans, who died Friday at age 52, is not commenting on funeral or burial plans.
However, the entertainer’s spokeswoman, Laura Herlovich, said today “there are plans in the works to hold a celebration of Danny’s life some time in the next couple of weeks.”
And once the event takes focus in terms of what size it will be and where it will be held, the decision will be made on whether it will be limited to a specific circle of friends or open to the general public.
Herlovich released a statement from Gans' manager, Chip Lightman: "We expect details to be finalized in the next few days and at that time will share with his fans and friends what those plans might be."
