ENTERTAINMENT: Vinnie Favorito scoots over to Flamingo

Insult comic Vinnie Favorito is making a short but significant move on Friday, from O’Sheas to the adjacent Flamingo, where he replaces The Second City in the Flamingo Cabaret.
Favorito will perform seven nights per week at 8 p.m., sharing the room with the “X Burlesque” topless revue.
The Boston comedian’s specialty is riffing off the crowd, so the 225-seat cabaret is still a good fit when it comes to working the room, while giving Favorito a higher profile in terms of casino traffic and visibility.
When Favorito opened the second-floor, 140-seat venue at O’Sheas in late 2005, the room wasn’t spared his humor: "Now I'm workin' the attic of an Irish pub," he quipped. "This is a dream come true right here. If the terrorists come back, they're not hitting this (expletive) building."
The O’Sheas room will have the rest of the summer off, and Harrah’s Entertainment officials will ponder its future after Labor Day.
