Executive appreciates Esplanade
July 15, 2007 - 9:00 pm
Architecture executive Lisa Tsukiyama purchased a new condominium at Esplanade by Warmington Homes Nevada, a development of condos and townhomes in the southwest valley.
Tsukiyama, a project manager in the Department of Planning and Construction at UNLV, was a move-up buyer purchasing her second home. She was eager to own a home featuring the latest in design and construction elements.
"Within the industry that I work in I have the benefit of receiving firsthand knowledge of the newest designs and standards that are seen primarily in new home construction," Tsukiyama said. "When I visited Esplanade, I was immediately attracted to the low-maintenance lifestyle, high level of included amenities and the beauty and functionality of the architecture."
Two distinctive collections of flexible floor plans are offered at Esplanade, The Metro and The Plaza. Both feature standard features such as custom beechwood cabinetry, solid surface kitchen countertops, secondary bedrooms, mini-blinds on most windows and vertical blinds on sliding glass doors.
The Metro Collection, priced from the $170,000s, measures about 894 to 1,381 square feet with one to three bedrooms and up to two baths. Metro homes include an assigned covered parking space and living and dining rooms.
The Plaza Collection, priced from the $200,000s, offers townhome-style residences ranging from about 1,212 to 1,713 square feet with up to three bedrooms and three baths, lofts, patios and decks and direct-access two-car garages.
The homes include formal living and dining rooms; kitchens with Whirlpool appliances, including a self-cleaning slide-in gas range; microwave hood and dishwasher. Interior laundry areas and master suites with a tub and separate shower are also available in each plan.
Standard features in Esplanade homes are beech cabinetry, laminate and Corian countertops. Buyers may also incorporate a variety of personalizing options such as two-tone interior paint colors, mirrored closet doors, connectivity packages, granite or Silestone countertops and/or upgraded cabinetry finishes.
Residents will have access to a clubhouse with community entertaining areas and a fitness center that offers cardiovascular equipment and weight-training machine.
To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and exit south on Durango Drive, then turn west on Maule Avenue.
The community is on the lefthand side. For more information, visit WarmingtonHomesNV.com or call 597-0330. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Wednesday when it opens at noon.
