Family buys Corbel plan in Ryland’s Cordova Estates

According to Debbie Keeler, after spending months looking at single-story plans in Henderson and its master-planned community, Green Valley, Keeler, her husband, Mike, and son, Tim, finally found the perfect home for them.

"The moment we walked in the model, we knew we were home," Debbie Keeler said about her first reaction to the Corbel floor plan at Ryland Homes' Cordova Estates collection.

"This floor plan was designed to be very open and livable, so we are thrilled that it is so popular among our home buyers," said Randy Char, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes. "It has 2,400 square feet of living space centered around the kitchen and large great room. It's perfect for families that like to get together and entertain."

Keeler said her two adult children, along with their own families, often come over to visit and for holidays.

Char said the combination of its reputation as a quality builder, well-designed plans and location make it a perfect location for a new home community.

"We first looked at existing homes instead of new, but couldn't find exactly what we wanted," Debbie Keeler said. "Not only does Cordova Estates have the perfect home for us, but the neighborhood is both quiet and convenient. We will be able to get to the freeways and shopping very quickly, and it has the added benefit of being gated. We weren't necessarily looking for that but it's nice to have."

Ryland Homes' Cordova Estates collection includes three floor plans ranging from 2,400 to 3,039 square feet in single- and two-story plans. Each home offers as many as six bedrooms, as many as three baths and up to a three-car garage. Pricing starts in the mid-$200,000s.

"We have been in our present home for 17 years and bought it brand new," Debbie Keeler said. "Whenever we are all together at our house now, everyone is in the kitchen and family room.
