Family finds small town in Aliante
Aliante has the feel of a small town, with friendly neighbors and lots of nearby conveniences, according to Sean and Nikky Lethbridge, who, last spring, purchased a home in Pardee's Springdale neighborhood.
As lifelong residents of the Las Vegas Valley, the Lethbridges said the feeling of community in Aliante is unlike anything they have experienced in a long time.
"Just driving past Aliante, I liked it. I initiated the move. I wanted to live in Aliante in particular, not just this part of town. It really feels different. We truly feel like we are among friends here," Nikky Lethbridge said.
Amenities include sports facilities, which appeal to the whole family, including their son 17-year-old Chris Ernest and daughter Chelsea Ernest, 16.
About 428 acres in Aliante are designated for recreational and public purposes, including the Aliante Golf Club, the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, Deer Springs Park, Aviary Park, more than 24 miles of lighted concrete trails and linear parks, and an arroyo.
Nikky Lethbridge said the family is still learning about all there is within the community, and enjoying each new discovery.
Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises, LLC, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Pulte Homes. Encompassing more than 1,900 acres, the community will ultimately have as many as 7,500 homes, with an anticipated population of about 20,000.
Home builders at Aliante include Astoria Homes, Del Webb, KB Home, Lennar, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes.
Home prices range from the upper $100,000s to the upper $600,000s.
Aliante is bordered roughly by Grand Teton Drive, Centennial Parkway, Decatur Boulevard and Clayton Street.
