Five remain in Players Championship, although top three control the board

Stephen Chidwick of the United Kingdom was eliminated in 6th place in the $50,000 buy-in Poker Players Championship, earning $253,497.

He was eliminated during Pot Limit Omaha play by Michael Mizrachi, who again extended his chip lead. Mizrachi has eliminated all three players at today’s final table.

With the action taking a break and five players remaining, Mizrachi, who is from Miami, has 7.2 million in chips. Second place Andy Bloch of Las Vegas has 4.3 million in chips while third place Chris Klodnicki of Philadelphia has 3.55 million in chips.

The fourth and fifth place competitors, Luke Schwartz and Roland Israelashvili, each have less than 1 million in chips and will need some help to remain in contention.
