Football team must find additional opponents

Mountain West Conference schools will play eight league games in the 2012 and 2013 football seasons, meaning UNLV must find an extra opponent for each year.
The conference will expand to 10 members in 2012, so one team will be skipped on each school's schedule those two seasons. Air Force, which annually plays Army and Navy in addition to the conference slate, had been a top proponent of an eight-game Mountain West schedule.
But now schools such as UNLV are having to fill some holes.
"We're working on a couple of things right now," Rebels athletic director Jim Livengood said.
