Former Vegas mob guy Faraci back on radar

It didn’t take Vinny Faraci long to regain the attention of law enforcement after busting out of the Crazy Horse Too.

Faraci, the reputed Bonanno crime family soldier, left Las Vegas following his tax conviction in a federal investigation that knocked Rick Rizzolo out of the Crazy Horse Too topless club on Industrial Road and into federal prison. Faraci returned to New York and opened a nightclub.

Now Faraci’s name has surfaced in connection with a massive DEA investigation into what authorities believe is a lucrative marijuana smuggling operation involving mobsters, Hells Angels and Mexican drug-cartel bosses, the New York Post first reported.

Canadian “Jimmy Cosmo” Cournoyer is a central figure in the investigation. His Bonanno contacts include John “Big Man” Venizelos, a Faraci friend at the Jaguar’s 3 nightclub in Brooklyn.

Writes the Post’s Mitchel Maddux: "Looking less like an alleged mobster and more like a day trader with his Ralph Lauren pastels, nautical-flag belts, Polo loafers and horn-rimmed glasses, Venizelos keeps a downtown Manhattan pad and holds a 'straight job' managing 'Jaguars 3,' a Brooklyn nightspot, sources said.The club is overseen by Vincent 'Vinny Green' Faraci, a reputed Bonanno soldier who formerly managed the 'Crazy Horse Too' strip club in Las Vegas, the sources added."

Faraci has a long history of hoodlum activity in New York and Las Vegas, where he was a fixture not only at the CH Too but also at Pure nightclub inside Caesars Palace. Despite his long family ties to the Bonanno crime group, in which his father “Johnny Green” Faraci was a capo, Faraci has long been suspected of providing strippers for groups and high rollers on the Strip. The dancers became known as “Vinny’s Girls” and often worked the prime shifts at the CH Too.
