Free illegal parking on Tuesday?
Should we presume these Metro black-and-whites aren’t assigned to Parking Enforcement?
A quick trip to the crowded Starbucks at Rancho Drive near Bonanza Road turned into a parking challenge on Tuesday morning. I grabbed a distant space outside a nearby bank. A couple uniformed officers made no pretense of following the rules. One angled onto the end of a line of parking spaces. Another just parked in the red zone.
Who knows, maybe they were hot on the trail of a couple suspects: One was described as Tall and the other Grande.
