Future residents looking forward to Sullivan Square mixed-rise move-in

Mixed-use community Sullivan Square is reporting more than half the residences in its first high-rise tower are sold and reservations are being accepted for its live/work space and traditional brownstones.
Self-employed professional William Dettrey Jr. said he looks forward to the amenities of market square-styled living.
"I was in search of convenient living where I am able to have time free of maintenance and upkeep," Dettrey said. "My new home at Sullivan Square will not only provide me more time for personal interests, hobbies and travel, but I will be in a situation where I can get to know my neighbors and be a part of an actual community."
With his pug Lucy in mind, Dettrey said he is anticipating amenities specifically designed for pets.
"Not only will I have neighbors to get to know, but my puppy Lucy will be able to play with other dogs in Sullivan Square's dog park. If I want to stop for a cup of coffee on Market Street or need to pick up a loaf of bread at the bakery, I'll be able to do double duty and take Lucy for a walk at the same time."
One of Dettrey's neighbors will be Nancy Johnson. Originally from New York, Johnson has lived in Las Vegas for four years and has purchased a unit in the mixed-use development.
"Sullivan Square reminds me of where I began on the East Coast, it's like its own little city," Johnson said.
The development will offer a market-street design, featuring 25 shops and services. An independently owned café, restaurant, full-service deli, neighborhood pub, florist, fresh fish monger, wine shop, coffee shop, bakery and butcher are planned. An office building and park will complete Sullivan Square's urban palate.
The development will consist of 1,300 residences. Along with high-rise towers, live/work spaces and traditional brownstones, the development will offer mid-rise terraced condominiums, Chicago-style lofts and townhomes will complete six options of urban living. Units in Sullivan Square's first phase range from 500 to 2,000 square feet with prices from the low $300,000s to $1.7 million.
Located at Sunset Road and Durango Drive just off Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, the development will center the valley's emerging West Village, which encompasses 400 acres zoned for high-density, mixed-use development.
The area will offer 10,000 housing units, several hundred thousand square feet of retail space and several million square feet of office space.
The Sullivan Square sales center is located at 8930 Spanish Ridge Ave. and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
To visit from 215 South, exit Russell Road and head north on Frontage Road. Turn east on Hacienda Avenue and south into The Park at Spanish Ridge.
