Get yer Reid tickets here!

Sen. Harry Reid’s star-studded presidential fundraiser next week is shaping up more like a Vegas extravaganza than a standard political event. Now you can even buy tickets for it at Ticketmaster.

The tickets, priced at $50, $150 and $250, go on sale at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com. Members of the state Democratic Party had the opportunity for first dibs in a pre-sale.

The event at Caesars Palace, which a state party news release describes as a “tribute concert,” is titled “The Good Fight” after Reid’s memoir and is slated to feature performances by singer-songwriter Rachel Yamagata, Vegas fixture Bette Midler and pop star Sheryl Crow. Oh, and “special guest Pres. Barack Obama.”

Meanwhile, a national conservative group that is one of several mounting anti-Reid campaigns hopes to greet Reid and Obama with protests.

Our Country Deserves Better PAC sent its members a fundraising solicitation Monday, saying it hopes to put an ad on the air in conjunction with the event. The group also hopes to stage a live protest.
